When people come to me for help, they often want the magic marketing pill to get them the results they desire.
And while I talk to them on the phone, I’m checking out their online social presences. Trying to find what ‘defines’ them. What makes them stand out from all the other businesses who do what they do.
And if I can’t find it, I’ll let them know. I’ll ask… What is it that you actually do? Do people know that’s what you do?
It’s not that you need to be the ONLY person to offer what you do.
In fact, that can often make your business feel like an uphill battle. Not only do you have to educate people on why they should work with you, you have to educate them on why you’re different. Why doing things the ‘new way’ is actually better.
But that’s why it’s so important to be YOU when it comes to online marketing. Because at the end of the day, having an opinion (and not just sitting on the fence posting motivational bland quotes with flowers in the background on Instagram) will help you stand out from the crowd.
What does this have to do your Facebook ads?
Facebook & Instagram marketing is an eco-system.
You put content (read: slightly polarising & not just the vanilla version) out there and people will interact with it.
The more engagement you get organically has a positive impact on your Facebook ads.
Facebook sees that your page is worthy, will also see that your ads are worthy.
Worthy ads = ads that cost less $ per link click & per conversion
And that’s the #1 reason my coaching clients can’t quite pin their success just on their ‘ads’ because once you learn that success doesn’t rely solely on throwing money at ads, you’ll be better off.
