I have to admit, I’m not the best on sales calls. I am a giver and so when someone tells me about what issues they’re having, I am always keen to help. What’s happened in the past is that I know I shouldn’t over deliver in the call but then my energy is this weird push / pull of wanting to help but holding back and it feels as though together with my prospective client we’re doing this delicate dance around each other. The good news is if you feel the same – I have three strategies you can use if you don’t love sales calls (including if you think they’re ok but you wish they didn’t take up so much time!).
